Answer

You may experience this issue when you access QuickBooks Hosted from a User account that has not previously accessed QuickBooks Hosted from this MAC.

When accessing a remote server like QuickBooks Hosted, there must be a trust relationship defined between the user and the remote server.  This trust relationship is stored in the user’s keychain.  A trust relationship is not created between the MAC and the remote server.

This message is a notification that there is no trust relationship between this user and the remote server.  You need to define that trust relationship.

Detailed Instructions

1.    On the Untrusted Certificate window, click on OK.  A Verify Certificate window will open.

2.    In the larger section below the Always trust “open.reckononline.com.au” section, select Always Trust for When using this certificate;

3.    When asked for login credentials, use your account credentials for this MAC;

4.    Click Continue;

5.    You will now be asked to login into QuickBooks Hosted.
