Sending emails through Outlook 2016 from Reckon Accounts 2015

Legacy KB ID: 5411

Question

I have upgraded my Outlook to 2016 and now I cannot send emails from Reckon Accounts 2015.

Answer

Outlook 2016 is not fully compatible with Reckon accounts 2015 and will encounter various problems.  We have found the following settings and sequences will in most cases get Reckon Accounts 2015 to email through Outlook 2016.

Older versions may not be successful with this method.

Reckon Accounts 2016 is fully compatible with Outlook 2016 and Windows 10, and you should consider upgrading to this version.
