Online banking keeps taking me to the Quicken website when I click 'Go Online'

Question

Why does online banking redirect me to the Quicken website when I select 'go online'?

Answer

When you select 'Go Online' under banking in Quickbooks it connects to the Internet to get the bank contact details. Some of these banks direct user to Quicken website, this is a limitation of online banking.

If this happens occurs, close the browser window within Quickbooks and go to your bank manually using Internet Explorer or your prefered web browser and proceed as normal.
