Error 404 Page not Found when downloading Bankdata in Accounts Business 2014

Question

Why can’t I access BankData?  Every attempt results in a message: “Error 404; pae nof found”.

Answer

In the Online Banking Centre click on the BankData Import button trather than the Go Online button.

 

The Issue

The Go Online link is not a link for Bankdata.  It previously opened a site of Australian bank internet sites. 

In August 2014 all quicken.com.au internet links were redirected to Intuit.com as part of the new agreement between Reckon Limited in Australia and Intuit Inc of the USA. 

The internet page that the Go Online button was linked to now redirects to Intuit.com where it is meaningless, so the Error 404 is generated. 

This is an issue encountered in Accounts Business 2014. 

The link will be updated in the 2015 edition. 

 

To access your bank for QIF export files:

Type in your bank’s internet address directly into your browser.

 

To access BankData

Click on the BankData Import button next to the From Bank section.
