How leave is reported under STP in Reckon One

Learn how the different leave types in Reckon One are reported to the ATO under STP, and how cashing out leave can change STP reporting.

This feature is available on all payroll and Reckon Ultimate plans.

Overview

All leave types in Reckon One are reported under Single Touch Payroll (STP). The STP reporting category for most leave types is affected by whether you select the Cash out leave option in the pay run.

Understand how leave types affect reporting

These leave items are the only ones where the STP reporting category remains the same regardless of whether you select the Cash out leave option in the pay run:

  • Ancillary and defence leave
  • Workers compensation
  • Paid parental leave.

This table outlines each leave type and its STP reporting category, with and without the Cash out leave option selected in the pay run.
