Superannuation pay item setup and STP reporting in Reckon One
Learn how the different superannuation types and their setup in Reckon One affect Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting.
Overview
When you set up a superannuation item in Reckon One, there are 3 things that affect the STP reporting category that the item will be reported under:
- the superannuation type
- whether the whole superannuation pay item is marked as RESC exempt (reportable employee super contributions exempt)
- whether the employee has a super guarantee amount, a collective agreement amount, or both.
Understand how superannuation types affect reporting
This table outlines each superannuation type and how it reports under Single Touch Payroll typically, and if the item is RESC exempt for the employee.
