View purchase order history in Reckon One

Learn how to view and add notes to the history of a purchase order in Reckon One. Purchase order history and notes allow you to keep a record of important information relating to specific purchase orders, and do not appear on the purchase order that gets sent to the supplier. 

This feature is available on Accounting Premium and Reckon Ultimate plans.

Before you start

You’ll need to enable purchase orders in your book first.

View purchase order history

To view the history of changes made to an purchase order (including attachments):

  1. In the Day to day menu (Money out section), select Purchase orders.
  2. Click on the purchase order.
  3. Click on the Actions menu (3 dots), then click View history.
  4. (Optional) Turn on the Notes only toggle if you wish to only see notes and no other events in the purchase orderhistory.

Add a note to the purchase order history

Notes can be added to purchase order history, so those viewing purchase orders in Reckon One can see important information relating to the purchase order. Notes do not appear on the purchase order when it gets sent to the supplier.  

To add a note to the purchase order history: 

  1. In the Day to day menu (Money out section), select Purchase orders.
  2. Click on the purchase order.
  3. Click on the Actions menu (3 dots), then click View history.
  4. Click Add note
  5. Type the note in the field provided. 
  6. Click Save note
