The Cash/Bank status for this entry differs from what is was previously set to. This is not allowed

Question

Why do I get the error:  “The Cash/Bank status for this entry differs from what is was previously set to.  This is not allowed.”  when I try to unlock a bank account.

Answer

This issue may be experienced on a Cash Account.  It does not occur on a Bank Account.

Reckon apologises for the inconvenience this problem is causing.  The issue is being investigated and will be addressed in a future release.
