Super Fund does not appear in the SuperLink list

Legacy KB ID: 4070

Question

Why doesn’t my Super Fund appear on the SuperLink Funds List?

Answer

Download the latest Superfund List from the iSuperLink website.  If it is a new superfund, apply to have the superfund added to SuperLink.

The Issue

Super Funds must apply to be part of the SuperLink process.  Super Funds are joining the SuperLink system all the time and so they may not have been on the SuperLink super funds list when you last updated the list (you would have imported this list when you first joined SuperLink).

If this superfund is a private superfund, you will have to apply to have the Superfund added to the SuperLink list.

Detailed Instructions

As a first step, logon to the isuperlink website, export the Superfund list and import to Accounts Business (formerly QuickBooks).

Reckon Accounts Hosted users see additional steps at Point 13.

1.    Go to www.isuperlink.com.au and enter Business Name, username & password

2.    Under Main Menu select Superfund Details

3.    Examine the list for your superfund; (If your superfund is not present go to the next section:  Adding a new Superfund);

4.    Export the list by clicking on the Export button – save to an accessible location on your PC, like your Desktop or the C drive;

5.    Open Accounts Business  and click on File > Utilities > Import > SuperLink files > navigate to the location of your file > select the file;

6.    Accounts Business  imports the Superfund details

7.    Go to Employee Centre > select Employee > change tabs to Payroll and Compensation Info > Super details

8.    Under item name select a super item;

9.    Click on ProductID to open the Superfund list

10. Select your superfund and product

11. Enter other account details and click on OK;

12. Repeat for each Employee affected.

13. Additional Steps for Reckon Accounts Hosted Users

    1. After Point 4, Copy the Superfund List export file to your Hosted Q drive:
    2. In Reckon Accounts Hosted, File > Open or Restore Company File > Open a company file (.QBW);
    3. In the File Type box at the bottom of the screen, click the dropdown arrow and select All Types (*.*);
    4. In the Lookin box, click the down arrow and select the C drive on your local computer (this will be listed below your Q drive) and browse to the location of your Superfund List exportfile;
    5. Highlight your Superfund List export file and press the Ctrl and C keys together – this will copy your file to the clipboard;
    6. In the Lookin box, click the down arrow and select your Q drive (in the style: 1234567-1 (\\QBIPYRFS01)(Q:));
    7. Click the white background and press Ctrl and V keys together.  Your Superfund List export file will paste to your Q drive;
    8. Continue with Point 5 above.

You are now ready to use your Superfund.
