QuickBooks stops responding when emailing Payslips

Question

Why does QuickBooks stop / not respond when I email my payslips?

Answer

If you are emailing payslips and QuickBooks appears to be not responding or waiting, simply select 'Ok' in the task complete window. When payslips are emailed QuickBooks has been designed so it will let you know that the process has completed.

1. Create a pay run as usual
2. Click on email payslips button on pay employees window
3. Tick the payslips you wish to email
4. Once email progress bar completes system appears to stop
5. Click on task complete window on the Start bar
6. Window will now appear on top
7. Click OK, the task window disappears and user can continue to work
