When re-opening QuickBooks it moves on to the next day (date)

Question

When I re-open Quickbooks the system date on invoices, etc, is different to the date I was using this morning. It has moved on to tomorrow's date.

Answer

If this has happened, it is due to the "AM" and "PM" settings have been swapped around in the Windows regional settings. 1) Click on the "Start" button, select "Settings" then "Control Panel" 2) Double click on regional settings 3) Click on the tab named "Time" 4) Check the am and pm symbols to make sure they are "AM" and "PM" in their respective fields 5) Click on "OK" See if your time is 12 hours out. If so, you should correct the time before restarting Quickbooks.
