You no longer have access to the server error when accessing QuickBooks Hosted from an iPad or mobil

Question

Why can’t I access my QuickBooks Hosted premium account from my iPad?  I get the error “You no longer have access to the server” or “Application not Available”.  I can still access my account from my MAC.

Answer

From time to time it is necessary to make changes to the operating configuration of QuickBooks Hosted.  Some of these changes may negatively impact on the connection path you have setup between your iPad or mobile device and QuickBooks Hosted.  The error message indicates that the established path is no longer available.

You will need to recreate your screen icon.

Access from MAC and PC desktops are not impacted by this process. 

 

Resolution

The steps you will need to take will vary from device to device.  Refer to your device’s manual for detailed instructions. 

On iPad:

  1. Delete your current Citrix Client screen icon for QuickBooks Hosted;
  2. On the Citrix Receiver screen, click on the QuickBooks Hosted icon;
  3. Click on Reckononline virtual...;
  4. Click on Edit in the Stores section;
  5. Click on the minus (-) sign, it will become a Vertical link;
  6. Configure your Citrix Receiver App to create a new screen icon for QuickBooks Hosted  (refer to ReckonOnline Citrix Receiver on iPad Installation)
