Can't syncronise Outlook contacts with QuickBooks 2002

Question

When I try to synchronise Outlook and QuickBooks 2002 the synchronisation appears to work correctly, but does not send any of the contacts across.

Answer

This may be due to either of the following:

1. If the contacts are on a server or a network they cannot be synchronised, the program will only work with a local set of contacts.

or,

2. If you have not filled in the Company or First and Last name fields in the address information of the Customer.
