All deleted transactions appear on the audit trail report, regardless of report dates or other filter settings

Question

Why are all deleted transactions showing on the audit trail report, even transactions outside of the date range and filters I have set?

Answer

Filters on the audit trail report are designed to work only on active (undeleted) transactions. You can set the report not to display deleted transactions:

  1. Click the Modify Report button in the upper left of the report window.
  2. Clear the Show Deleted Transactions checkbox in the lower right of the Display tab.
  3. Click OK.
