Customers Cc email address is deleted in QuickBooks when completing a POST from Retail POS to QuickB

Question

I changed some customer information in Retail POS and after I posted the information to QuickBooks, the cc email address was deleted.  Why?

*****   THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN CORRECTED IN THE 2010/11 RELEASE   *****


If you modify customer information via Retail Point of Sale Terminal, the next time you POST data to QuickBooks via Retail Point of Sale Administrator the applicable customer/s will lose their Cc email address in QuickBooks.


Workaround

Modify customer information via QuickBooks instead of via Retail Point of Sale Terminal otherwise you will need to manually re-enter the applicable customer/s Cc email address back into QuickBooks.
