Replacing an RDP-ADP item with an RDP-Bereave item causes the calculated amount to change.

Question

Why does Accounts Business (formerly QuickBooks) change the amount of leave pay when I change the leave item from RDP-|AD to RDP-Bereave?  Follow the same calculation and should produce the same result. 

 

Answer

Manually over-write the amount calculated with the amount of the original amount processed.

 

The Issue

RDP calculations are always made in reference to the last pay.  Where you replace one RDP item with another in a past pay, the amount is recalculated, and it will be referenced to the last pay processed in this company file and does not reference the previous pay from the pay being edited.  Consequently you may get a different result.
