Question

How do I resolve the issue where QuickBooks installation stops while displaying the following message?

Answer

The printer driver Intuit Internal Printer is required to send forms with attached Adobe® Portable Document Format (.pdf) files via e-mail. To continue with the QuickBooks installation, you can bypass the installation of this printer driver using the Microsoft® Windows® Close Program or Task Manager utility:

Note: Although this will speed up QuickBooks installation, QuickBooks will install the Intuit Internal Printer driver whenever you attempt send forms via e-mail, which slows down the e-mail process. To prevent this from occurring, manually install the driver after you finish installing QuickBooks by following the instructions in the knowledge base article Q4796.
