Using a Reckon Online Premium Account on a Windows PC

Question

I have a Premium Account to access QuickBooks Hosted from my MAC PC.  When I am away I only have access to a Windows PC.  Can I still access my QuickBooks Hosted?

Answer

Reckon Online Premium Account enables users to access QuickBooks Hosted from MAC computers, iPads, iPhones, Google Android and Blackberries as well as a Windows PC.  It uses different servers from the Standard Account and so has a different URL (web address). 

The Premium Account is accessed through https://www.reckononline.com.au/login/

The Standard Account is accessed through https://qbi.reckononline.com.au/RDWeb/Pages/en-US/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=default.aspx and then use the Login to your account option.

 

A Premium Account user also has the rights to access the Standard Account from a Windows-based PC.  To establish a connection you need to:

·         use the Standard Account URL;

·         ensure that the Windows PC you are using is properly configured to access the QuickBooks Hosted servers.  Refer to the FAQ on the Reckon Hosted home page before logging into your account for directions.  Basic services the Windows PC requires are:

o    RDP 7.0

o    .Net Framework 3.5.1

o    Active X for Microsoft Terminal Services Client Control enabled in Internet Explorer

  

If you wish to use your Premium Account with its features on another Windows PC, that PC must have the Citric Receiver App for Windows installed.  If it does not have it you can download the app from:
