Question

Why can’t I access GovConnect when I enter my Customer Details and PIN number?  I get the error:

Reckon GovConnect is only compatible with the latest version of QuickBooks. Please contact the Reckon Call Centre on 1300 784 253 to see how they can assist you.

 

Answer

To use GovConnect, you must have a QuickBooks 2011/12 activated under the Customer ID you are using. 

 

Solution

Check the Customer Account you used to activate your QuickBooks 2011/12:

1.    Help > My License Information

2.    Under Product Information is the Quicken Customer ID used to activate this QuickBooks 2011/12.

 

Accredited Partners

You must use your Professional Partner ID rather than your Accredited Partner ID.
