Unexpected error when attempting to launch QuickBooks ( crash.dmp and crash.xml )

Why do I receive the error: "QuickBooks has encountered a problem and needs to close" when I launch QuickBooks for the first time after installation?


This will occur if your Internet Explorer settings are set to High. To reconfigure this:

1. Open up your Internet Explorer web browser

2. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options

3. Under Security and Privacy tabs, you will need to reduce the current configured settings

4. Click on Apply > OK

You should now be able to launch Quickbooks.
