Payroll App 6.0.1 (Released 8 February 2023)

Other leave types

Reckon Payroll mobile app has been enhanced to calculate employee leave accruals for all other leave types in the same way it calculates Annual and Personal leave. The additional leave types for accrual can be added when adding an employee, or to exisiting employees by the leave tab. You will also be able to set an employees current balance for the other leave types.

You can also create and edit leave types via Leave items in Settings

Company bank details

Reckon Payroll mobile app has been enhanced to allow clients to enter the details for their asset and liability bank accounts. The account details will be used by features released in the future, such as Bank Payments.

Each book will have an asset and cash account pre-set up with the asset account able to be updated with the bank details of the company.

Termination pays

A new option is now available within the Employee screen to Terminate employment. An end date and Reason for termination is to be selected which then triggers the option to create a final pay run for that terminated employee.

The final pay run is pre-filled with the employee’s remaining payable leave balances and the user can also include additional final payment items such as redundancy and additional taxes.

Employee bank payments

When adding a new employee through the employee wizard, a bank account can now be added to the employee. This can be multiple bank accounts and there is the ability to split payments either as a percentage or a cash value.

Bank accounts can also be added to the employee profile within a new Banking screen.

As per the company bank accounts, this functionality is a pre-requisite for bank payments which will be deployed in a future release.

Cash rounding setting

You can now configure to the nearest value cash payroll settings will round to.

The Superannuation fund search has been enhanced so only the top ten search results are returned as the user searches for a fund
