No records found when attempting to email payslips from Payroll Premier. Other employees show buy p

Question

Why can’t I email payslips from Payroll Premier?  There is a sequence of errors:

1.    Get the error: No Records found;

2.    A partial list of employees then shows;

3.    View the payslip and see it is dated dd/mmm/1801 and the rest is blank.

 

Answer

This is a benign error. 

We have not been able to replicate this behaviour so we cannot offer any explanation on why it happens or how to avoid it.   


Before continuing check the preferred print method for payslips and payment summaries for all missing employees and ensure it is set to Both (that is, for printing and emailing):

  1. On the Employees List, right click the employee and select Edit;

  2. On the Personal tab, go to the Pay Slips section

  3. Click the dropdown arrow and select Both

  4. Repeat for Payment Summaries.

  5. Click OK to finish.

Click on the email icon and payslips will be emailed to the correct employees.
