Question

Why do I receive the message: Disk Required - Please insert Disk 2 when restoring a backup file in Payroll Premier?

Answer

This is because you are restoring over the existing data [.QPW] file on your computer.

To resolve this;

Locate your existing data file [file extension is .QPW] on the computer you are using.
Default location: 
- Windows XP - C:\Program Files\QPRollv17\Data
- Windows Vista - C:\QPRollv17\Data

Right click on the file and choose Rename. Enter a different name.

Or

Right click on the file and choose Delete. [Only delete the file if you wish to overwrite the file]

In Payroll Premier, go to File > Restore Files

The file will now restore.
