Payslips showing Sick Leave with a figure of 0 (zero) in the YTD field in Payroll Premier

Legacy KB ID: 2217

Question

Why do my payslips display sick leave with a figure of 0 (zero) for my YTD?

Answer

If you have upgraded from a previous Payroll Premier version that uses the old term sick leave, it will default to sick leave being displayed on the payslip with a figure of zero.

In order to resolve this, to show the correct YTD figures, you will need to select personal leave in the preferences.

To do this:

1. From the File menu, choose Preferences
2. Click on the Leave icon
3. From the option 'Show Personal Leave / Sick Leave on payslips as'
4. Select Personal Leave
5. Click Save

It will now show Pers. Leave and display the correct YTD figures on the payslip.

Note - This setting defaults to Personal Leave for data files created in this version of Payroll Premier.
