Internal Error – the website is experiencing technical difficulties – when connecting to QuickBooks

Question

I have installed the Citrix Receiver, but when I try to log on, instead of seeing any QuickBooks icons I get the error:

Internal Error

The web site is experiencing technical difficulties.  We apologize for any inconvenience.  The internal error may only be temporary.  Try reconnecting and, if the problem persists, contact your system Administrator.

 

Answer

You need to refresh your browser by closing it and restarting.

 

Solution

Close your browser (not just the tab for QuickBooks Hosted), relaunch it and go to the QuickBooks logon page at https://www.reckononline.com.au/login/, log in and you will see the QuickBooks icons.
