Please specify a destination path that exists when creating a backup on Payroll Premier

Question

Why can’t I backup my company file in Payroll Premier 2012/13 and 2013/14?  I keep getting the error: “Please specify a destination path that exists.”  My backup path and filename is correct.

 

Answer

(Sometimes you may see a path like:  “_Backup\nnnnn\mmmm.QPB)

 

Workaround

Enter the full path and filename you wish to save in the Backup window.   

1.    On the backup window click on Browse;

2.    Navigate to the folder where you want your backup saved;

3.    Click OK to continue.
