Deleting pays in QuickBooks

Question

How can I delete previously entered pays in QuickBooks 2003?

Answer

Only the last pay for an employee can be edited or deleted.

To delete a pay;

  1. Choose Lists menu > Employee List.
  2. In the Employee List right click on the employee and select QuickReport.
  3. Double click on the employees pay which you want to delete.
       This will take you into the Payment screen.
  4. Click on the 'Edit' menu and select 'Delete bank payment'.
