Cannot re-enable a user that has been disabled for QuickBooks Hosted or CashBooks Online

Legacy KB ID: 4108

Question

Why can’t I re-enable a user I recently disabled?

Answer

There are a number of issues regarding disabling a user of CashBooks Online:

1.    If you disable a user you cannot re-enable the user at a later stage.

2.    If you disable a user’s service you cannot re-enable the service at a later stage.

3.    If a user has only one service & you disable that service then the user & serivce are disabled.  You cannot re-enable the user or the service at a later stage.

4.    If a user has 2 services (ie: CB & QB) & you disable 1 of these services for the user you cannot re-enable that service at a later stage.

5.    When disabling a user/service no email is sent

6.    When disabling a user/service no refund is issued
