Payroll Premier 2019/20 Patch Update

Legacy KB ID: 5744

Question

We have identified the following three issues in the Payroll Premier 2019/20 release.

1. If there were any pays with the date "1/7/2018" as the "Date Paid" it will not allow you to create a STP EOFY file and brings up the error "No data was found for your date range of 1 JUL 18 to 30 JUN 19. Please check your company file and retry the data range."
2. When uploading your JSON file to GovConnect you receive the error "Product Key Is Invalid"

3. When uploading your JSON file to GovConnect for STP EOFY finalisation, when clicking on "Detail" next to the initial submission, allowances display correctly. However, if I click "Detail" next to each individual employee who has received an allowance, it displays $0 when there should be an amount.

Answer

The three above issues have now been fixed. You will need to place the current Rinb.exe file with the new one. Please find below detailed steps on how to complete this:

1. Close Payroll Premier 2019/20

2. Download the new RINB.EXE file here

3. Go to the "Download Folder" (or location that you have selected for the download) and copy the Rinb.exe file

4. Now go to the installation directory for Payroll Premier 2019/20, and open the "Reports" folder. This is normally found here: C:\QPRollV28\Reports

5. Paste the Rinb.exe file in this location and replace the faulty one by clicking on the option "Replace the file in the destination"

6. Open Payroll Premier 2019/20 and the issues should now be resolved
