Continually requested to click Install to access your applications when accessing QuickBooks Hosted

Question

Why do I get asked to install after I have installed the Citrix Receiver or Online Plug-In when accessing QuickBooks Hosted Premium account?

Answer

To access QuickBooks Hosted Servers your browser must have an unimpeded path to the QuickBooks Hosted website.  Your computer or your local network may be blocking access to all but authorised sites.

  

Workaround

In Internet Explorer:

1.    Tools > Internet Options > Security;

2.    Click on Trusted Sites and click on Sites;

3.    In the Add this website to the zone, enter https://www.reckononline.com.au/* and click on Add;

       https://open.reckononline.com.auand click Add

4.    Click on Close and OK to close the boxes. 

5.    Close and re-launch your browser.

You should be able to access QuickBooks Hosted.

 

In Google Chrome:

1.    Click the Spanner in the top right corner and select Settings;

2.    Click Show advanced settings

3.    Under network, click on Change proxy settings;

4.    Click on Security > Trusted Sites > Sites;

5.    In the Add this website to the zone, enter https://www.reckononline.com.au/* and click on Add;

       https://open.reckononline.com.auand click on Add;

6.    Click OK and close the Settings tab.
