Question

Why can’t I log into QuickBooks Hosted Premium Account?  I get the error:

Citrix Receiver Configuration Manager: No value could be found for (AllowHotkey) that satisfies all lockdown  requirements.  The lockdown requirements in force may be conflicting.

 

Answer

You may experience this issue when accessing QuickBooks Hosted Premium account from a Windows PC.

You will need to enter the Windows Registry and exclude the Citrix Receiver from lockdown parameters. 

 

Detailed Instructions

Care
:  This step requires you to enter the Windows Registry.  Changes to the Registry effect the behaviour of your computer.  Incorrect changes may prevent your computer from running properly.  If you are not confident in making changes to your Registry please refer to your IT professional.

 

  1. Open the Registry Editor: 

·         Windows 7 & Vista:  Start button > type regedit > Enter;

·         Windows XP:  Start button > Run > type regedt32 > Enter;

o    If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

2.    Make a backup of your Registry:

a.    On the top menu line, click on File >Export

b.    Select a location to save the file and in the File Name box enter a name;

c.    In the Export Range section, click on All;

    1. Click Save.

3.    Go to:  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>Citrix>ICA Client>Engine>Lockdown Profiles>All Regions;

4.    Select EnableLockDown key > Modify data > change value from 1 to 0;

5.    Close the Registry.

You should now be able to log onto QuickBooks Hosted.

 

If the problem persists, you will need to reinstall the Citrix Receiver.

1.    Uninstall the Citrix Receiver through the Control Panel;

2.    Delete the Citrix folder in C:\Program Files;

For 32bit Citrix on a 64bit operating system, C:\Program Files (x86);

3.    Delete the Citrix key in the registry:  HKey_Current_User > Software > Citrix;

For 32bit Citrix on a 64bit operating system, :  HKey_Current_User > Software > WOW6432Node > Citrix

4.    Download the latest Citrix Receiver.
