Personal File Sharing Error when accessing the Reckon Online Provisioning Tool

Question

Why do I get a Personal File Sharing error when I try to access the Online Provisioning Tool?

Answer

Citrix Security on your PC is set to deny remote server access to the local PC.

You may also get the error: windows cannot access \\Client\C$\.

 

 

Workaround

Go to the Provisioning Tool login page

In your System Tray, click on the Citrix Connection Center icon

The window that opens will have two sections: 

on the left - ICA connections box

on the right – Session or Server information, depending on your version.

 

Where you see Server in the Citrix Connection Center:

1.    Click on the button File Security;

2.    In Client File Security;

3.    Ensure that Access Level is set to Full Access;

4.    Ensure that Do you want to be asked again? Is set to always ask me;

5.    Click OK to save then close.

 

Where you see Sessions

1.    Under Session Security Files: ensure that Ask Permission is selected.

2.    Click Close.

 

You should now be able to access the provisioning Tool.
