Question

I have run the Reckon Infrastructure Compatibility Check version 2, so why do I get the following error when I login to QuickBooks Hosted 2011/12R2 on the new RDweb server?

The connection has been terminated because an unexpected serer authentication certificate was received from the remote computer.  Try connecting again.  If the problem continues, contact the owner of the remote computer or your network administrator.

Answer

You may experience this problem when accessing from a Windows XP service pack 3 operating system.  It suggests that the authentication certificate has not been updated.

3.    If the scheduled task fails to run, double-click on the task “AddCRL” and check the user credentials in the field “Run as”. The user id and password mentioned in the “Run as” field should have local administrator rights.

a.    If you access the internet through a proxy server, this user should also be able to connect to the internet via the proxy server. Please contact your network administrator for assistance.

4.    Once the Task has run successfully, reboot your computer before attempting to Connect to QuickBooks Hosted.

You should now be able to access the QuickBooks Hosted application. Click on the “QuickBooks Hosted 2011-12 R2” icon and you will be presented with the RemoteApp dialog. Click “Connect”.
