The address given did not provide a valid App list. Please check the address, gateway settings and your network connection.

When I log onto QuickBooks Hosted?

Answer

You will experience this issue if you are accessing QuickBooks Hosted from a mobile device like an iPad, iPhone or an Android device after the QuickBooks Hosted Premium servers have undergone an upgrade.  The upgrade breaks the link between the address stored in your mobile device and the Citrix Server.

You must refresh your Citrix Receiver for QuickBooks Hosted.

Premium account users on Windows PC and MAC are not affected.

Detailed Steps

The following steps are for iPad, but iPhone and Android devices will have similar steps:

1.    Tap once on your Citrix Receiver icon (you will see your QuickBooks Hosted icon and other applications using Citrix Receiver);

2.    Tap the Settings tab

3.    Under Application Settings, press Accounts > Reckononline Virtual Apps;

4.    Tap on Delete Account > select Delete in the Warning box;

5.    You will now see the Citrix Receiver Welcome screen.  tap on Add Account;

6.    In New Account, Address box, type in: open.reckononline.com.au then tap on Go (or press Next);

7.    On the Verified screen, enter your username (eg: 1234567-1), password (eg: P@$sw0rD) and domain (qbi) and tap Go (or press Save);

8.    Back on the Citrix Receiver screen tap on the Apps tab;

9.    The Reckononline Virtual App screen will open showing you the QuickBooks options available to you (between April and July you will see 2 icons, one for the current version and one for the newly released version)

10. Tap on the QuickBooks you want to open.  To save this connection as a favourite, tap the star icon next to the QuickBooks listing.

11. After the first use, or after making it a favourite, a QuickBooks icon will appear on the Citrix Receiver screen.

Additional Note

Users should pay attention to email alerts from QuickBooks Hosted that announce Citrix Server upgrades.  After each such upgrade you will need to reset the Citrix Receiver on your mobile device.
