RAP was not able to complete the request (OL-221-A) when importing a file from ANZ Share

Question

Why do my attempts to import my transactions from ANZ Share Trading (formerly E*Trade) fail with the message: “Reckon Accounts was not able to complete the request [OL-221-A]?

Sometimes the message: “Reckon is currently unable to verify the financial institution information for this download” appears as well.

Answer

Please wait for a patch early in 2017.

Reckon apologises for the inconvenience this issue is causing.

 

The issue

Various changes to operating procedures have necessitated changes to the programming code processing the file from the ANZ. 

Changes are being made by both the ANZ and Reckon and will be completed early in 2017.
